The Chouf Cedar Reserve has been included on the green list again until January 5, 2029, making it the first reserve in the Arab world to be re-declared after the first five years.
It is noteworthy that “the Green List is a global certificate to measure the effectiveness of governance and management, granted by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.”
