The election of the president is a guarantee of Lebanon’s stability
Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani confirmed after his meeting with President Joseph Aoun that the election of the president constitutes an essential and important milestone for Lebanon and the Middle East.
He explained that the election of the president will ensure Lebanon’s stability, which will contribute to strengthening relations with Lebanon and allow it to play the role it deserves in the region.
The Italian Minister also stressed the need to strengthen the ceasefire that took place after the war, stressing that his country has an important role within the UNIFIL forces in this context.
