For close friends only…a special feature on Instagram!

“Instagram” revealed the addition of live broadcasting to friends and close ones, allowing users to broadcast with up to three other people in a private video session, with the aim of increasing group conversations in the application.

Users can now broadcast only with close friends, and invite others on their close friends list to co-host or join a broadcast.

This feature expands the audience to include close friends of your close friends, although it is primarily a live video option for small groups, which may help facilitate communication within the app.

The live broadcast feature to your close friends aims to provide another way for Instagram users to communicate in the application, and maintain community, within interconnected groups, as is the case with social media on a large scale.

In a not-so-distant context, Instagram is keen to provide additional ways for users to interact with music in the application, this time by adding music to circular posts that include video clips. Music tracks can now be added to accompany circular post updates, even if they include a video frame.
