Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati announced today, Thursday, that “we were able to preserve the state’s structure during the last stage, and the constitution stipulates holding binding parliamentary consultations to choose a new prime minister.”

He said: “The next stage is the stage of implementing international laws and resolutions and respecting the constitution.”
