In the second session, Joseph Aoun became President of the Republic
Economy Minister Amin Salam wrote on the “X” platform: “In the second session this afternoon, we will congratulate Lebanon and our steadfast people on the pillar of the nation, the statesman Joseph Aoun, as President of the Lebanese Republic, with 108 votes.”
He added: “From here begins the process of saving the country and moving towards stability, prosperity and security.”
