Bassil touched on the issue of the Constitution, considering that it is clear and the mechanism for amending it in Articles 76 and 77 stipulates how to amend it and stipulates the existence of a President of the Republic, a government, and a regular session of the Parliament, and these things are not available, and therefore amending the Constitution with its mechanism is not available. He pointed out that during the election session, the Council is an electorate, not an electorate, and the constitutional principles do not tolerate interpretation, and we do not want the President of the Republic to violate the Constitution at the beginning of his term. He is the only person who puts his hand on the Constitution and swears an oath, and he cannot do this thing at the moment he violates the Constitution.

He added: We heard the Army Commander’s support for the presidency of the republic, and this violates the constitution. Therefore, we ask you to announce those who are qualified to run, and we ask you to announce who are qualified to run, and considering that every paper whose holder does not have the qualifications to be considered invalid.
