A wave of floods sweeps through Mecca, causing major damage (video)

During the past 24 hours, the city of Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia witnessed a severe wave of floods that swept across various parts of the city.

Video clips spread on social media showed torrential torrents dragging cars and objects in their path, resulting in significant damage whose numbers have not yet been determined.

The competent authorities have issued warnings to citizens and residents, calling on them to avoid going out unless absolutely necessary, and to stay away from areas where water may accumulate or those close to flood streams, in order to preserve their safety.
