An old video exposed him…demands to dismiss the new Syrian Minister of Justice. Watch what he did

Social media users circulated two video clips documenting the execution of the death sentence against two women on charges of “corruption and prostitution.” According to what the publishers indicated, the two clips show Shadi Al-Waisi, the Minister of Justice in the government affiliated with the new Syrian administration, reading the text of the ruling, which sparked a widespread wave of anger on social platforms and increasing calls for his dismissal.

The Syrian “Verify” platform conducted a careful verification process using specialized technical tools to match the features and tone of voice that is clearly heard in at least one of the two recordings, with the features and voice of Minister Shadi Al-Waisi, who recently appeared in several video interviews.

The results showed high agreement, despite the poor quality of the two recordings distributed.

A senior official confirmed that the man who appears in the two recordings is indeed the current Minister of Justice, Shadi Al-Waisi, who was a judge at the time.

Many condemning comments spread on social media sites rejecting the appointment of an extremist person whom many people considered a terrorist whose ideas could not be compatible with the modern state. (Emirates 24)
