Hezbollah’s candidate so far is Suleiman Franjieh

Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Hussein Haj Hassan, said today, Monday, that Hezbollah’s relationship with Army Commander Joseph Aoun is strong and solid, noting that there is no veto on the latter’s name in the presidential election file.

In a statement on Al-Jadeed TV, Haj Hassan said that Hezbollah’s candidate for the presidency so far is the head of the Marada Movement, Suleiman Franjieh, and he added: Either we go to elect a president with 65 votes, or cancel the session and not elect a president, and the party is open to the first option.
