Washington issues a license allowing transactions with the new Syrian government
On Monday evening, the US Treasury Department issued a general license allowing transactions with the new Syrian authorities in several different fields.
The United States allowed transactions with Syrian government institutions, transactions related to energy resources, and financial transfers, including through the country’s central bank, from the sanctions list.
