Washington wants to conclude a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Monday expressed his “confidence” in reaching a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, whether during President Joe Biden’s term or after Donald Trump succeeds him on January 20.
Blinken said during a press conference in Seoul that Washington wants to conclude a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and free the hostages within the next two weeks… We very much want to cross the finish line within the next two weeks, which is the time we have left.”
