The General Directorate of Prisons visited the prisons of Zahle, Jeb Jenin and Rashaya to greet the prisoners
Regional Guide George Nabhan participated in the visit, who was keen to go to each prison, accompanied by members of the General Guide of Prisons, where prisoners gathered to participate in the divine sacrifice and receive encouraging and supportive words. In his speech, Nabhan praised the inner strength of the prisoners, stressing the importance of faith and hope in overcoming the difficulties and challenges they face.
The visit also included providing material and moral support to the prisoners by distributing some basic needs to them, which were collected in cooperation with a number of institutions. The personal needs of prisoners were also taken into consideration and communication was made with prison administrations to develop appropriate support programs to improve their conditions inside prisons.
The prisoners expressed their deep gratitude for this generous visit, as they felt special attention from the General Counsel of Prisons, which contributed to raising their morale and reminded them of the importance of belonging to society and the role they can play after the end of their sentence.
