In America… a bridge collapsed while a freight train was passing


KPTV reported that a bridge collapsed near the city of Corvallis in the US state of Oregon while a freight train was running on it, resulting in one wagon loaded with urea falling into the river, without causing any injuries.

The channel said, quoting a representative of the Portland & Western Railway Company: “The overpass collapsed while a freight train was moving, causing a wagon loaded with urea to fall into the Mary River… A company spokesman confirmed that the train consisting of 19 wagons was traveling on the railway bridge.” The moment he collapsed, but no injuries were reported.” (Russia Today)
