With a Palestine 2 missile… a Yemeni attack on a power station in Israel

The Houthi group announced on Sunday that it attacked a power station in Israel with a “Palestine 2” hypersonic ballistic missile.

The military spokesman for the Houthis, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said in a statement: “The missile force in the Yemeni armed forces carried out a military operation, targeting the ‘Orot Rabin’ power station belonging to the Israeli enemy, south of the occupied Haifa area, with a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile.” He stressed that “the operation has successfully achieved its goal.”

He stressed that “the Yemeni leadership, people and army continue to perform their religious, moral and humanitarian duties towards the oppressed Palestinian people, and that the military support operations for the mujahideen in Gaza will continue.”

He pointed out that the attacks against Israel “will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.”

Earlier today, the Israeli army announced the interception of a missile launched from Yemen before it entered Israeli airspace.

The Israeli army announced the activation of warnings at Ptolemy Eleazar in Tel Aviv, indicating “an investigation into the details.”

Later, the army said: “After the warning that was activated in Ptolemy Eleazar, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted before it crossed into the country.”

Israeli media confirmed that missiles were being launched from Yemen towards central Israel, while Israeli sources reported that an explosion was heard in the vicinity of the city of Hadera, south of Haifa, after activating sirens. (Sky News)
