Qadisha Electricity Company denounces the repeated thefts and calls for the perpetrators to be held accountable


The Qadisha Electricity Company denounced the repeated thefts within its scope, calling on those concerned to hold those involved accountable. She said in a statement: We inform you that theft has increased recently, and it is considered an encroachment on public property and facilities, especially the Kadisha electricity network, and the theft of copper within the scope of the municipality of Al-Mina and Tripoli, especially the area between the entrance to the port of Tripoli and the slaughterhouse and between the grocery stores on the road. She continued: Since these thefts cost the Kadisha enormous additional burdens, in addition to depriving citizens of benefiting from the electricity supply, especially since the Kadisha feeding hours have been increased recently, and accordingly, the company submitted several complaints against an unknown person to the Public Prosecution through its attorneys at It happens.

The statement added: Since the company was suffering from a severe shortage of materials and equipment, it was unable to re-extend the copper network to replace the stolen one, and thus it was also unable to secure electrical current in the port city, until the equipment was secured to replace the stolen one.

He concluded: We ask the security services to work to uncover the perpetrators, and also the citizens to be careful about these facilities and help stop this scourge that harms us and them.
