An ammunition depot was found in central Homs

The new authorities in Syria found an ammunition warehouse in the city of Homs in the center of the country, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).

The agency said that the Public Security Department “found an ammunition warehouse in the Al-Zahraa neighborhood on the outskirts of the Old City of Homs, during a combing campaign in search of Assad remnants,” on Saturday.

It quoted a security official as saying, “During the security campaign against the remnants of the former regime, we were able to find many diverse ammunitions.”

Among the ammunition found were RPGs, machine guns, and bombs, according to the spokesman, who spoke in a video clip broadcast by SANA.

He continued: “These were in the warehouses of the remnants of the former regime.”
