Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Hassan Fadlallah, confirmed that Hezbollah wants, in the presidential election session next Thursday, on January 9, to have a president of the republic, and this requires understandings between the main parliamentary blocs and those who meet on commonalities, and we have governing constitutional texts. There is a constitutional quorum for the session, and a quorum for electing the president. The constitution is clear and does not require much talk about how to elect the president, and it is possible that he will be the President of the Republic.

Fadlallah’s words came during the celebration honoring the happy martyr on the road to Jerusalem, Dr. Engineer Hassan Musa Shaito, in the Imam Al-Mujtaba Complex in Saint Therese, in the presence of a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Amin Sheri, a member of the Development and Liberation Bloc, MP Ayoub Hameed, scholars, activists, personalities, and families of the martyrs, and a crowd of The parents.

Fadlallah said: We are going to elect a president of the republic with complete understanding between Hezbollah and the Amal Movement, so that we have a president capable of cooperating with everyone in Lebanon, and we do not want anyone to be isolated, and we are against isolating any party, and against political disputes in isolation from the opinions of others, On the contrary, we are open to discussions, dialogues and cooperation with those who want to cooperate, so that we can all come together to restore the systems of constitutional institutions in a way that helps advance the country and address the effects of the Israeli aggression on the one hand, and the possibility of improving conditions for this stage. Coming from the other hand.

He added: The most important characteristic of the President of the Republic is to be a true sovereign, and to confront any attack on sovereignty, especially by the Israeli enemy, and we hope that we will reach a result on the specified date.

He concluded: Our presence, strength, and presence in the internal equation are derived from the will of our people, and this people is strongly present in the equation, and no one can surpass them in any way, and also our strength is this complementary unity among the people of the resistance environment, whether at the popular level or at the political level through The presence of us and the Amal Movement bloc in the Parliament, and our opinion, is basic, fundamental, necessary, and expressive of any basic entitlement at the country level, especially the entitlement to the Presidency of the Republic.

The celebration included the recitation of clear verses from the Holy Qur’an, a speech by the honorable martyr, a presentation of the will, and a Hosseini condolence council for the soul of the martyr and the souls of all martyrs.
