After the explosion, a social media user pointed out that a number of media outlets presented the incident, giving the impression that the fire broke out spontaneously in a Tesla car, harming the Tesla brand, and suggested that Musk file a lawsuit against those media outlets.

For its part, Las Vegas police said yesterday evening, Wednesday, that they were investigating a car fire near Trump Towers after a video of the Cybertruck electric car burning circulated.
According to the authorities, one person was killed and 7 others were injured in the fire.
