Bouhabib cabled his Syrian counterpart congratulating him
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdullah Bu Habib, sent a cable to his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, congratulating him on the occasion of his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Syrian Arab Republic, wishing him success in his new duties. In the letter, Minister Bouhabib also expressed his wishes for success in strengthening the status of Syrian diplomacy in regional and international forums.
Minister Bouhabib also took advantage of the occasion to affirm in his message Lebanon’s adherence to the unity of Syria, its territorial integrity, its independence, and the right of its people to self-determination, and Lebanon’s aspiration for the best neighborly relations with the new government in Syria, in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples and the two countries.
