To approach our issues and relationships in a Christmas spirit of compassion, humility, reconciliation, and frankness

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri congratulated the Lebanese in general and Christians in particular on Christmas, and said: Before his birth, time was night and after it it became dawn… and life became sadness and after it it became joy.

From the Bible: Good news that you should not be afraid, for here I am bringing you good news of great joy that will be for all the people, and in the Holy Qur’an, in the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful: When the angels said, “O Mary, indeed God is giving you good news of a word from Him.” God Almighty is true.

The Council President added: On Christmas Eve, we are all called to approach all our issues related to all aspects of our lives, our behavior, and our human, political, and social relations in a Christmas spirit, with compassion, love, humility, tolerance, reconciliation, and frankness. There is no Christmas without love, giving, sacrifice, and uninterrupted communication for the sake of humanity and for the sake of Lebanon, then. We deserve Christmas and live it as a message, hope, salvation and hope.
