Russia will resume oil projects in Kurdistan

The Russian “TASS” news agency quoted Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsifelv as saying that the Kurdistan region of Iraq and the Iraqi government reached a settlement of their disputes over oil, which will allow Russian companies to resume their projects in the region.

The resumption of oil exports from Iraqi Kurdistan was a major obstacle to relations between the region and the federal government in Baghdad. (Sky News)
