Mikati held a series of meetings in his house in Tripoli … and clarifying the issue of ceasefire arrangements

President Mikati was issued by the following statement:
During the sessions of discussing the ministerial statement of the government, a number of representatives offered by the deputies offered not to see the issue of ceasefire arrangements that our previous government took knowledge and agreed to its content, as an integral part of the Security Council Resolution No. 1701, after its issuance with a joint statement of the United States of America and France.
In clarification, we point out that on the same day in which the government’s decision was issued on 11/27/2024, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers sent a book to the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives “included a copy of the Council of Ministers’s decision and its facilities related to stressing again to commit to implementing Resolution No. 1701 issued by the Security Council in all its degrees and relevant obligations.” It required clarification.
