Jaber: Approving the mechanism of appointments is a priority of the government

The government is supposed to start its first constitutional sessions after confidence next week, to discuss the priorities schedule, and in this regard, Minister of Finance Yassin Jaber explained to the “Major General” that “the important priorities are undoubtedly the approval of the mechanism of appointments at all levels, and the development of the reforms program that is necessary to provide external aid for reconstruction, which is also one of the governmental priorities in parallel with the continuation of the diplomatic effort to liberate lands.”

He added, “There is the issue of the 2025 budget, and the government is two options, either to issue it by decree or withdraw it from the council to reconsider it, and then prepare for the 2026 budget.”

Jaber pointed out that “the priority program is placed by the prime minister, engraved by the government, approved and proceeding with it, and we expect that” the government’s work is enlightened “in the files that it will approve and begin its implementation.
