A Moroccan man was arrested after a stabbing incident on the subway in France

On Sunday, French police arrested a young Moroccan man accused of attacking four people with a knife on the subway in the city of Lyon, eastern France.

Prosecutor Thierry Dran said police arrested the man “armed with a knife.”

A police source said that two of the wounded were injured in the abdomen, and a third was injured in the arm.

The police reported that “the suspect is of Moroccan nationality and is 27 years old. He has no record and has been hospitalized several times due to psychological problems.”

On the other hand, a police source announced that there were no “elements” indicating that the attack was related to a terrorist act. (Sky News)
