Suspending the Libyan Oil Minister from work.. What is the reason?

The Administrative Control Authority in Libya stated that it had temporarily suspended the Minister of Oil and Gas in the National Unity Government.

The authority said on its official Facebook page, citing a judicial investigation, that its president, Abdullah Qadirbuh, issued a decision to suspend the Minister of Oil and Gas in Tripoli pending an investigation into the facts of Case No. 178, which revealed legal violations.

The statement did not reveal further details.

A source at the Ministry of Oil told Reuters that the ministry has not yet received a copy of the decision.

The authority mentioned the minister’s title and referred to him in a brief statement using only the first three letters of his name.
