After a violent day of fighting between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, the central Khartoum area witnessed a cautious calm, while the skirmishes and siege operations carried out by the army continued on rapid support elements from three axes with the aim of regaining control of the Republican Palace and a number of ministries and government agencies in the capital center.

The army forces are facing difficulty as a result of the use of rapid support for fortified buildings and snipers to hinder its movement.

Al -Arabiya reported the escalation of smoke columns in Berry neighborhoods, east of the General Command of the Army in Khartoum, noting that the artillery shelling was renewed towards the neighborhoods of the east of the capital. (Arabic)
