Salam received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman


The Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, received this afternoon in Al -Saraya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al -Busaidi, at the head of a delegation.

As a result, Minister Al -Busaidi said: “The meeting with the President of the President was very fruitful, and we talked about the development and communication between the two countries in various fields, including also support to resume the work of the Joint Supreme Committee, and the resumption of direct flights between Lebanon and the Sultanate of Oman, as well as making greater efforts within the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the Arab framework to support Lebanon and for the process of reconstruction, and achieving more benefits that serve the Lebanese people in all fields.”
In response to a question, the Omani minister said: “There is an open invitation to President Salam to visit the Sultanate of Oman at a time when he sees him appropriate, and he expressed his desire and aspiration to achieve this visit.”

The Prime Minister also received the Undersecretary of the United Nations Secretary -General and the assistant director of the United Nations Development Program, Holiang Xiu, in the presence of the residing actress for the United Nations Development Program in Lebanon, Mrs. Blaira Aliko, and discussed the research how to help Lebanon in terms of economic advancement.
