After security tensions in Qirdaha … a statement from the Syrian Public Security

After security tensions and clashes, the director of the Syrian Public Security Department in Lattakia Governorate, Lt. Col. Mustafa Kanifati, announced that the General Security Forces are working to take the necessary measures to ensure security and stability in the city of Qirdaha.

Kanifati said: “In the context of our continuous efforts to control the security of the region and maintain the safety and property of the people in Lattakia Governorate, our security units installed a barrier in the Qirdaha area, but groups affected by the imposition of security tried to prevent the barrier and attack it, stimulate chaos and attack the city police station.”

He added, “We are currently working to take the necessary measures to ensure security and stability” in the city.
