ISIS claims an attack that killed 30 soldiers

In a post on the Telegram application, ISIS claimed responsibility for an attack on the Nigerien army that it said led to the death of 30 soldiers.

The organization added in a statement that “the soldiers were killed in an ambush targeting a convoy near the town of Tigui in the Tillaberi region in the west of the country.”
