A decision from the Minister of Education.. These are its details

The Minister of Education and Higher Education in the caretaker government, Abbas Al-Halabi, issued Decision No. 2398/11 dated 4/9/2024 regarding opening the door for submitting nominations for the colloquium exams for the year 2024 – the first session in the specializations of “speech assessment,” “optometry,” and “therapy.” Psychomotor.”

The announcement stated: “The General Directorate of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education announces the start of receiving applications for nominations for the collocium exams for the year 2024 – the first session for the specializations:

– Speech assessment – optometry – psychomotor therapy

Starting from Monday, 4/15/2024, until Friday, 5/31/2024.

Applications for candidacy for colloquium examinations in the specializations mentioned above are submitted via the following electronic link of the colloquium department in the General Directorate of Higher Education: https://dghe.mehe.gov.lb, directly by the relevant stakeholders, with regard to graduates and students who are candidates for graduation by the end of the year. The current semester (spring 2024) from higher education institutions operating outside Lebanon, and by the representative of the university/college concerned, with regard to graduates and students nominated to graduate by the end of the current semester (spring 2024) from private higher education institutions operating inside Lebanon,

With reference to:

1. The link will close at five o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, May 31, 2024.

2. The need for candidates to submit the nomination file on paper, including the required documents, directly, or through a family member (grandparents, parents, children, brothers, sisters), to the secretariat of the Collegium and University Equivalency Department in the General Directorate of Higher Education in the central building of the Ministry of Education. and higher education (UNESCO, Habib Abi Shahla Square, sixth floor).

Required Documents:

– A duly certified copy of the identity card, or an original individual registration certificate not exceeding three months on the date of submitting the nomination application (the registration certificate must include a recent photograph of the candidate).

– Three recent photographs of the candidate, certified by the local mayor.

– An exact copy of the secondary school completion certificate, with regard to the Lebanese General Secondary School Certificate or the Lebanese Technical Baccalaureate Certificate.

– An exact copy of the statement of equivalence for a secondary school completion certificate other than the two certificates mentioned above.

– University certificates and relevant transcripts, certified by the Secretariat of University Certifications in the General Directorate of Higher Education, regarding graduates and students of private higher education institutions operating in Lebanon.

– University certificates, grade transcripts, and the certificate supplement (if available), duly certified, with regard to graduates and students of higher education institutions operating outside Lebanon.

– An exact copy of the university equivalency statement issued by the University Equivalency Secretariat in the General Directorate of Higher Education, with regard to certificates issued by other than the Lebanese University.

– A copy of the training certificates in the labor market in the specialty (if available).
