Europeans may discuss Ukraine peace mission at UK summit

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is likely to start discussing the “peace mission” in Ukraine at the European Political Group summit in Britain, an EU source said.
“I cannot say for sure, but we can expect this matter to be discussed on the sidelines of the summit,” the source said in press statements in Brussels on Monday, according to the Novosti news agency.

The source pointed out that Orban may make public proposals to discuss other initiatives besides the so-called “Zelensky Peace Plan.”
The next summit of the European Political Community is scheduled to be held in London on July 17-18.
The concept of the European Political Community dates back to French President Emmanuel Macron, and its creation was announced in May 2022. It includes 27 member states of the European Union.
