Putin Won’t Contact Trump After Assassination Attempt

The Russian presidency, the Kremlin, confirmed today, Monday, that Russian President Vladimir Putin did not communicate with Republican candidate for the US presidency, Donald Trump, after the assassination attempt he was subjected to, and has no plans to do so.

Asked whether security measures around Putin would be increased, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “The Russian leader has the appropriate level of protection and all necessary measures are being taken.”
