The Israeli president apologizes after the killing of aid workers in Gaza

Today, Tuesday, Israeli President Isaac Herzog officially apologized after seven collaborators with the American non-governmental organization “World Central Kitchen” were killed in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip.

A presidential statement said, “President Herzog expresses his great sadness and sincere apology following the tragic death of the World Central Kitchen team last night in the Gaza Strip, and offered his condolences to their families and relatives,” explaining that he had contacted the organization’s founder, the Spanish-American chef José Andrés.
