The French Council of State supports the deportation of Imam Mahjoubi

The French Council of State supported the decision to deport Tunisian Imam Mahjoub Mahjoubi, considering that “some of his sermons incite discrimination against women and Jews.”
“Certain statements made publicly by the person concerned, in the context of speeches that had a specific audience, could be considered as explicit and deliberate acts of incitement to discrimination against women,” the ruling stated.

The Council of State also referred to acts of incitement to hatred or violence against groups of people, especially in the current international context, to comments related to Jews, as well as statements criticizing French society and promoting jihad.
